corporate social responsibility
The centre is located in Kibera Slum, Nairobi, Kenya, which is one of the largest slums in Africa, with a population exceeding one million. The community faces severe poverty, which has worsened in recent years due to rapid population growth, a stagnant economy, and a lack of sufficient employment opportunities. These challenges make it difficult for residents, especially children, to access basic needs.
The Center has grown into a vibrant school over several years, currently educating 220 children with the help of 15 dedicated teachers and caregivers. The center has become a cornerstone for community transformation, guided by the belief that “Education is the Guiding Light to a Brighter Future” and that every child’s dream is valid. The Center continues to empower children in Kibra by providing education, hope and helping them overcome the challenges of poverty and build brighter futures.
why we help
